These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the seo-backlinks website, dashboard and API (collectively the "Service"). By creating an account, paying for a plan or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service description

seo-backlinks provides a backlink and authority lookup service built on the public Common Crawl web graph. We do not guarantee the freshness, completeness or accuracy of the underlying data and do not modify the source dataset.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your API key, password and account credentials secret. You may not share, sell or sublicense your API key. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to bypass quotas, or abuse our infrastructure.

3. Plans, billing and renewal

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard's "Manage subscription" link. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access to your paid features until then.

All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions are honored at the price you signed up for until the next renewal.

4. Refund policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid month. Contact us within 7 days of your first charge and we will issue a full refund. After this period, no refunds are issued for partial months, downgrades or unused capacity. See our refund policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Send abusive volumes of requests beyond your plan quota.
• Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass authentication or rate limits.
• Resell raw API responses as your own dataset without explicit written permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate third-party rights.

6. Data and intellectual property

The underlying link graph data originates from Common Crawl (Common Crawl Foundation, CC0 / open data). Our derived metrics, software, branding and dashboard are owned by us and are not transferred to you by using the Service.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or that the data will be fit for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or via the dashboard. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.
